Please read these terms carefully before using the App

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Doran Real Estate mobile application ("the App") operated by Ericka Doran, Doran Real Estate, brokered by Relish Realty ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
2. Description of Service
The App is a free educational and informational resource for the home buying and selling process. It is available to the general public — no account, invite code, or other sign-in is required. The App provides:
Step-by-step guides and checklists for buyers and sellers.
A real estate glossary and educational content.
Mortgage and affordability calculators.
Neighborhood insights for the greater Madison, Wisconsin area.
A home-match preference quiz.
Links to third-party property listing services.
Direct contact features to reach Ericka Doran.
3. Not Professional Advice
The information provided in the App, including content from the calculators, guides, and educational materials, is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional real estate advice. You should consult with qualified professionals (attorneys, lenders, inspectors, etc.) before making real estate decisions. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided.
4. Third-Party Services and Links
The App contains links to third-party websites and services, including but not limited to Zillow. The App also uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports for improving app stability. These services are not operated by us and are subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites and services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
5. Mortgage Calculator Disclaimer
The mortgage calculator and any financial estimates provided in the App are for illustrative purposes only. Actual rates, payments, and terms may vary based on your credit profile, lender requirements, market conditions, and other factors. These tools do not represent an offer to lend or a guarantee of any terms.
6. User Conduct
When using the App, you agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App's underlying systems.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.
7. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Doran Real Estate and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Doran Real Estate name, logo, and branding may not be used without prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Doran Real Estate, Ericka Doran, and Relish Realty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App or reliance on information provided therein.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Doran Real Estate, Ericka Doran, and Relish Realty from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that should reasonably survive termination shall remain in effect.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App and on our website, with an updated "Effective Date." Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dane County, Wisconsin.
